Annual Session

The ASDA District 9 Annual Session brings together dental students, chapter leaders, and representatives from dental schools throughout the district for a weekend centered on leadership, professional development, collaboration, and organized dentistry. The conference provides attendees with an opportunity to step beyond their individual chapters and experience the broader ASDA community while developing relationships with fellow dental students who share similar academic, professional, and leadership goals.

Throughout the conference, students participate in educational presentations, leadership-development sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions related to the future of dentistry. Attendees can learn from experienced professionals, explore different career paths, exchange successful chapter ideas, and gain valuable perspectives on the issues affecting dental students and the profession. The conference also allows chapter leaders to collaborate, celebrate accomplishments, and identify new ways to strengthen student involvement at their respective schools.

For KCU ASDA representatives, the District 9 Annual Session is an opportunity to represent the College of Dental Medicine, strengthen connections within the district, and bring new ideas and resources back to our chapter. The knowledge, relationships, and experiences gained during the conference help KCU ASDA continue developing meaningful programs and opportunities for our members while supporting the growth of future leaders in dentistry.
